This level is geared towards learning triple jumps, with the double axel being completely mastered; our Senior A athletes also start more personal training and intricate choreography.
Although the on-ice enrichment and off-ice classes are similar to that of the Senior B, this level focuses on higher-intensity training sessions. Skaters on this session are competing at a provincial to national level.
At the Senior A level, we encourage a co-operative education-sport balance. We work towards developing strong work habits, corrective training plans and good nutrition; additionally, skill evaluations, program simulations, and equipment audits are consistently conducted.
Although the Senior A skater aspires to be a champion, the Champs coaching staff takes pride in setting realistic goals and ensuring that the journey is positive, rewarding, and healthy.
