Champs Junior Skaters Top Podium at 2019 National Championships

The Junior Men’s event at the 2019 National Championships was nothing short of exciting this year.

Aleksa Rakic and Beres Clements skated spectacular long programs that included triple-triple combinations, strong spins, and compelling artistry to finish first and second on the Junior Men’s podium. Aleksa scored 130.66 points in the long program for a combined total of 199.10 point to become the Junior Men’s National Champion. Beres scored 126.58 in the long for a combined total of 191.02 to win the Junior Men’s Silver medal.

Their skates were a testament to their strong training and to the dedication of their coaching team lead by Joanne McLeod.

In Ice Dance, Yuka Orihara and Lee Royer finished 5th place overall, and Miku Makita and Tyler Gunara placed 9th overall.
