Congratulations to all of our Jr Academy skaters that participated in our annual Linda Brauckmann Jr Academy Competition.
The Linda Brauckmann Competition is dedicated to the late Mrs. Linda Brauckmann whose achievements include coaching a World Champion & Olympic Medalist, and being inaugurated into the Skate Canada Coaching Hall of Fame. Her claim to fame is coaching Vancouverite Karen Magnussen to win Gold at the 1973 World Championships. Mrs. Brauckmann was from BC and stood as one of Canada’s coaching treasures.
